about us I’m Brett Nichols from the Howrah Garden Centre. Welcome to our online produce shop – the first in Tasmania! The Howrah Garden centre is a 100% Tasmanian family owned business. My parents and I are proud of the great relationship we have with our suppliers, growers and customers, established in our years involved with the business. We listen to our customers' needs and you told us that you wanted the freshest Tasmanian and Australian produce but didn’t always have time to shop at a quality greengrocer. So here we are! Our great range of fruit, vegetables and natural products are specially selected to ensure that you, our customers, are truly satisfied with the items you select from our store. In fact, much of our produce is delivered to us by our own Tasmanian growers directly from the farm. We operate on a simple philosophy - if it’s available in Tassie that’s where we source it. From fresh herbs to delicious apples, we have all of your fruit and vegetable requirements covered. Premium quality, hand selected fruit and vegetables are part of the Howrah Garden Centre guarantee, and now with our online shop we’ve taken the hard work out of fruit and vegetable shopping! All products and specials are priced at the same rate as our market where we have the storage and handling facilities to ensure you get the best quality produce at a very reasonable price. All products and specials are updated as new stock arrives and that’s every day so you know it’s fresh! At the Howrah Garden Centre we’re all about giving you the old-fashioned fruit shop experience.
